A man dressed as a Roman centurion lost his cool and attacked an American tourist outside the Colosseum in Rome.

Historical re-enactor Andrea Terlizzi says that the tourist failed to tip him properly after posing with him in a photograph. "I saw him wearing a Hawaiian shirt and an American cap, with a cigar in his mouth," Terlizzi told the court. "I expected a proper contribution."

He then kicked the tourist, Jose Aznar, who fell and broke a finger.

Terlizzi was sentenced to eight months in prison for the attack.

"When I offered extra dollars, he said, 'In Italy we blow our nose with dollars,' and called me a son of a bitch, a Mafioso and a cuckold," said Aznar.
