Baby GlGl smart bottle monitors milk consumption
The Baby GlGl promises to tell you the optimal angle to feed your baby to prevent it getting colic or gas. Slow Control

Slow Control, the French company behind the Hapifork, has launched a smart baby bottle which monitors how much milk your baby is drinking and tells you the optimal angle to feed your child to prevent gas or colic.

Remember the smart fork which vibrated if you were eating too fast? Well the French company behind the 10S Fork (formerly known as the Hapifork) has now launched a smart baby bottle which will tell you what is the best angle to hold it at to prevent your child getting gas or colic.

The Baby GlGl (standing for "glug glug" apparently) is actually a plastic sleeve which fits around the bottle itself and using three batteries and a sensor to monitor the angle it is being held at (called an inclinometer) the Baby GlGl will check weight of milk left and tell you what the best angle to hold the bottle is.

The high-tech feeding device is even equipped with a couple of light-up arrows to direct you to raise or lower the bottle before getting an all-clear.

The bottle is on sale now and will set you back a rather high €100 (£78) for a piece of technology which is not guaranteed to help.
