Users of Micromax's YU Yureka smartphones can expect the arrival of CyanogenMod 12S (CM12S), which is a repackaged version of Google's latest Android Lollipop OS update, for their smartphones.

According to a post on the official YU Yureka forum by engineers at the company, the Lollipop update based on CyanogenMod 12S has now entered the final approval phase, and users of YU Yureka smartphones can expect the OS update to be rolled out via OTA very shortly.

The official YU Yureka forum post also hints at the CM12S OS update being sent to Google for final approval which means that users can check their devices on a regular basis for OTA notifications representing CM12S (repackaged Android Lollipop OS update).

YU Yureka and Cyanogen together were supposed to roll out the CM12S firmware upgrade to Yureka users in the first week of April, but the rollout was delayed and is now confirmed to happen very soon.

Currently, YU Yureka is powered by the CyanogenMod OS 11 on top of Google's Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.
