Well-known American attorney Alan Dershowitz on Monday (January 5) said he plans on filing defamation charges as well as start disbarment proceedings against the lawyers representing a woman that accused him of sexual abuse allegations in a filing in Florida federal court last week.

The woman, who is named in the filing as Jane Doe #3, said she was forced as a minor by financier Jeffrey Epstein to have sex with several people, including Dershowitz and Prince Andrew, the second son of Queen Elizabeth.

Buckingham Palace has denied that Prince Andrew had sex with an underage girl and named the alleged victim whose anonymity was preserved in court documents filed last week as Virginia Roberts.

In an interview at his apartment in Miami Beach, Florida, Dershowitz vehemently denied the allegations levelled against him.
