A man was killed when a joy ride in a Lamborghini ended in tragedy at Disney World, Florida, on 12 April 2015.

Gary Terry, 36, died when the supercar ploughed in to a safety barrier on a race track at the holiday resort.

Visitors pay hundreds of dollars for the chance of going for a spin in a range of high-powered motors.

The 24-year-old driver of the Lamborghini - which has a reputation as a difficult car to master - escaped the crash with minor injuries, reported CNN.

In a statement, operator Exotic Driving Experience, said: "On behalf of everyone in the organization, it is with a very heavy heart that we extend our deepest sympathies to those involved in today's tragic accident in Orlando."
