Emma Watson
Emma Watson has revealed that she isn't ready to buy her own house.

She may have amassed a fortune of £23m, but Emma Watson has still to buy her first home.

The British actress, who rose to fame playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, has not spent any part of her fortune on a place to live because she fears buying a house is "really grown-up".

She is currently renting an apartment in West London.

"It's madness, I know. It's really silly... I really should do something about it. But it's like my choices with everything," she says in the October issue of GQ magazine.

"I just always have to be sure it's really something I want... There's a big thought process that goes on behind everything... I guess it (buying a house) just seems really grown-up."

In June, the 23-year-old star admitted to only owning eight pairs of shoes.

She said that she is not interested in living lavishly like her fellow celebrities and prefers her modest life.

"It's almost like consumerism as a form of kleptomania," she told the Radio Times.

Recalling her visit to the mansion of heiress Paris Hilton, she said she was shocked to see the enormous walk-in-wardrobes.

"She could never wear all those clothes. Half of them were brand-new and still had the price tag on," she said.

"But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We've all bought things on impulse but that's an entirely different thing."
