Wilmer Valderrama is set to join Grey Sloan Memorial as a guest actor on the show Grey's Anatomy. He will play a character called Kyle Diaz in a multi-episode arc on the TV medical drama, starting April.

The show, which is in its 12th season, has seen a number of cast changes following the death of Derek Shepherd, Patrick Dempsey's character. Martin Henderson was brought in to take on the role of Dr. Nathan Riggs while Giacomo Gianniotti's Dr. Andrew DeLuca, who was brought in only for a few episodes, was made into a permanent character. The long-running show was recently renewed for a 13th season by ABC.

The That 70s Show actor has guest-starred in a number of shows like Raising Hope, Suburgatory and Royal Pains. He also acted in Minority Report but the TV show was cancelled after 10 episodes. Valderrama is currently working on the TV horror series From Dusk Till Dawn developed by Robert Rodriguez.

The 36-year-old actor is also working alongside girlfriend Demi Lovato on the American-Canadian animated film Charming in which he voices the lead character of Prince Charming, who is engaged to Snow White, Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty at the same time. The film is in its production phase and is set to release later in the year.
