Luxury brand Gucci has released the latest "Forever Now" campaign images featuring Monaco's equestrian royal princess Charlotte Casiraghi.

Unveiled earlier this year in March, the campaign will see the Monaco royal in a series of images shot by four famed photographers over two years. The collaboration highlights Casiraghi's and Gucci's shared passion for all things equestrian.

An accomplished equestrian, Casiraghihas has had a close relationship with the fashion house for some time now. In the past, the young Monaco royal has worn riding outfits designed exclusively for her by the fashion house.

The inaugural shot for the campaign was taken by lensman Peter Lindbergh in a stable and showcases the princess in a green and red stripes outfit.

However, the latest images have been taken by famous photographers Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin in black and white. The images this time reportedly celebrate Gucci's iconic metal horsebit, which adorns many of their accessories and was first used by founder Guccio Gucci on the house's saddle-stitched handbags in the fifties.

The Telegraph mentioned that in the images, Casiraghi wears Gucci's classic horsebit-adorned loafers in black and white in the two pictures which make up the campaign. As if channelling her late grandmother, Grace Kelly, she wears a simple shirt with cropped tailored trousers and turned up jeans.

The campaign is one of those rare times when a royal has collaborated with a fashion house to front a product or collection.

Princess Charlotte is regarded as a fashion icon and has received intensive coverage by the media through the years. A personal favourite of the luxury label's creative director Frida Giannini, Charlotte is regarded as the "modern royal whose effortless elegance defies contemporary style" by the designer.

"Charlotte not only embodies the beauty and the grace of the equestrian, but is also a wonderful ambassador for the sport. I am delighted to be able to celebrate Gucci's icons of heritage with someone who is so connected to the history and essence of this house. Charlotte brings the spirit of Gucci to life so elegantly," Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said about Casiraghi.
