Holly Valance Gets Engaged to Multimillionaire Boyfriend

Holly Valance is to marry her multimillionaire boyfriend Nick Candy after he popped the question during a romantic break in the Maldives.

The 38-year-old British property developer proposed on a beach with the words 'Will you marry me' written in fire. The ecstatic singer shared her news with fans by posting a snap of the romantic moment and including the caption: " And I said YES!!! ♥ Happiest day of my life!!!!! Xxxx."

Candy had whisked her away for a Christmas break after the finale of Strictly Come Dancing. Valance, 28, had made it to the semi-final.

The couple began dating in 2009 after they were introduced at a mutual friend's dinner party. They decided to live together last year.

Candy is one half of a property empire with his brother Christian. Their development portfolio includes central London's One Hyde Park, the world's most expensive apartment block where units sell for approximately $100,000 per square metre.
