How To Get Away With Murder season 3 returns with more drama this Thursday, as the chapter will unveil the second survivor from the burning house. Episode 3 is titled, Always Bet Black, which airs this Thursday (6 October) at 10pm EST on ABC Network.

The official synopsis reads as follows:

Annalise presents her class with a high-profile murder case that pushes even the Keating 5's morals, while Laurel makes a shocking discovery through an unlikely source.

HTGAWM season 3 episode 1 ended with a flash-forward scene, with Annalise (Viola Davis) standing in front of a body bag on a stretcher as her house is burning down. The victim in the body bag is not revealed, thereby, setting up the big mystery of the season – who died in the night of the house fire?

Every weekly episode will reveal one character's fate. Episode 2 revealed that Oliver Hampton (played by Conrad Ricamora) is safe. Creator Pete Nowalk spoke to Variety about the show's central twist. He said, "It's one of those decisions you make and then you hate yourself for it later ... and then realize you have to show who is under that sheet."

"Every episode, you'll see more of the night of the house fire and you'll always see more of who is not under that sheet ... so you can follow along at home for who is alive," Nowalk explained.
