The board of UK banking giant HSBC is expected to make a decision on the location of its headquarters. The bank said in 2015 that a move was on the cards because of the high costs of doing business in the UK.

HSBC was first rumoured to relocate to Hong Kong, a choice not shocking considering that HSBC stands for Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation. As the relocation review went on, a lot longer than initially expected, reports of a possible move to Canada or Frankfurt surfaced.

Now that the review has reportedly come to a close, the majority of investors and analysts think that HSBC will stay in London. This will make the HSBC headquarters a lot easier to guess. But what about other big companies?
