HTC has already begun the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean treatment for its flagship smartphone, HTC One last month. Now it is the turn for HTC One owners in the UK.

The UK users will not have to wait anymore to experience the latest Jelly Bean software version with the update is just a few weeks away.

HTC UK has recently confirmed via Twitter that the Android 4.3 update for HTC One users in the UK is expected within three to five weeks. HTC has not provided details on the particular date for the roll-out but just said, "We are expecting to release Jelly Bean 4.3 update in the UK in 3-5 weeks. Thanks for your tweet.

HTC started the update for the HTC One at the end of September starting from Taiwan, and then the update was rolled out to users in Canada, AT&T and Sprint. Jason Mackenzie, HTC America's president, said that the T-Mobile HTC One users should be getting Android 4.3 update on 21 October. Those who have not received the Over-The-Air (OTA) update notification yet, navigate to Settings>> About phone>> Software Update>> Check now.

Talking about the UK update, along with the Android 4.3 the user are expected to get Sense v5.5 instead of Sense 5, as notes Android Authority. The HTC Sense 5.5 was first introduced in company's recently announced large-screen smartphone, HTC One Max. The Sense v5.5 brings improvements to BlinkFeed and some minor changes to the Gallery and other parts of the interface. As for Android 4.3 featuers, the update will enable Bluetooth LE, OpenGL 3.0 and new Daydream functionality and several other changes.
