Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder's reunion may never happen, as The Vampire Diaries actress is reportedly dating her co-star Chris Wood.

A new report in Hollywood Life says that Dobrev was spotted "hanging out" with Wood, and the fans have given them the name "Woodbrev"

The report also claims that the couple has been stealing kisses off set lately.

Dobrev plays Elena and Wood plays the negative character Kai in The Vampire Diaries' current season.

A source told the website: "They are great friends who have hooked up on the recent times they have been out together but they are not currently looking to start a relationship."

"They are both very cool about it and it has not ruined working with each other or caused any issues," the source added.

Dobrev also posted this picture of them on social media.

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder was spotted buying an engagement ring for his new girlfriend Nikki Reed.

The 35-year-old actor was photographed visiting the popular Neil Lane jewellery store, in what seemed to be a stop to get a Christmas gift for someone special, reported E!Online.

A source told the website, "Ian was in the store for about an hour, and suggests that it might have been shut down for the star since there was nobody seen entering or exiting while he was there."

Another sourced added, "We haven't heard about this stop by Neil Lane, but they wouldn't be surprised if it was for an engagement, adding that things have been going very fast between Somerhalder and his lady Reed."
