I'm A Celebrity 2015
I'm A Celebrity 2015 will start on Sunday 15 November ITV

November is upon us, and regular ITV watchers will know that the winter months can only mean one thing. No, not that the evenings are darker and colder, nor that Christmas is almost here, but rather the new series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! is imminent.

Dec Donnelly
Presenting duo Ant & Dec have featured in a number of ITV teaser trailers ahead of the first episode ITV

Following on from all those trailers saying little more than 'coming soon' much to fans' frustration, the series has finally been given a start date (Sunday 15 November), which means that the brave famous faces making up this year's line-up will officially enter the jungle in less than two weeks. The first episode is set to air at 9pm, and will likely continue at the same time every night.

This series promises to be bigger and better than those that have come before it, featuring even more cringeworthy bushtucker trials. One new one in particular will have the celebrities partaking in a game of limbo while holding sheep testicles in their mouths. Another task that the famous faces will have to tackle includes rubbing I'm A Celebrity 'sun cream', which could consist of anything from crushed cockroaches to fish heads, on each other.

As always, the official roster of celebrities taking part is a secret, but there have been plenty of rumours as to who might make an appearance. Despite walking out of last year's series after just three days, The Only Way Is Essex's Gemma Collins was one of the first to be tipped as a 2015 contestant. However, it has since emerged that the reality star may not re-enter the jungle due to health reasons.

"Gemma is gutted because she was desperate to give it another go," an insider previously told The Sun. "She's in the best shape of her life but docs feared another repeat of last year's early exit... Despite losing weight and brimming with confidence, they felt she still wasn't strong enough to cope with the demands."

Jake Wood, best known for playing Max Branning on EastEnders, is another rumoured contender, and a recent interview he conducted with Radio Times certainly added fuel to the fire. "I do really like that show. Everyone I've spoken to who's done it has said they really enjoyed it," the 43-year-old said. "I'm not squeamish – so eating strange stuff wouldn't bother me."

Another soap star said to be going in is former Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis. After being sacked from the Channel 4 programme earlier this year, her involvement in this year's show was all but confirmed by an insider. "Stephanie is hot property and the reality shows have all been desperate to sign her up since her sacking as they know she is mouthy and prone to crazy antics," they told the Mirror.

"However, Steph is also keen to prove herself and wants viewers to see her stronger side taking part in jungle challenges and interacting with the other contestants. She knows I'm A Celeb... won't be easy, but thinks the experience will be positive overall."

Actress and TV chef Rustie Lee is another name thrown into the ring. She's almost gone into the jungle before, being signed up back in 2013 but withdrawing due to unforeseen medical reasons, so she's obviously keen on the idea. A source recently told The Sun: "Rustie is larger than life and everyone knows who she is. She's bubbly and fun and will have a huge presence in the jungle... Whatever happens, she should be great viewing and at least she'll be able to whip up some decent bushtucker grub."

Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson

Looks like Made In Chelsea's Spencer Matthews wants to follow in fellow reality star Hugo Taylor's footsteps, as sources close to him have claimed he will be going in this year.

"This deal has been in the offing for a while now as ITV think Spencer will be absolutely perfect for the show. He couldn't do it last year for various reasons, but everything's fallen into place and he is going to be on the next series," they told The Sun. "Seeing a posh Eton-educated Chelsea boy eating bugs and being dunked in slime is going to make brilliant viewing."

The most surprising name to appear among the rumoured celebs, apart from maybe Caitlyn Jenner, is Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. Could this be the rapper's attempt at getting his career back on track after filing for bankruptcy in July?

Ex-Watchdog presenter Anne Robinson, former footballer Paul Gascoigne, Denise Van Outen, 2012 X Factor champion James Arthur, Olympian Iwan Thomas, choreographer Brian Friedman, Emmerdale star Gemma Oaten, Geordie Shore's Vicky Pattison, Dragons' Den's Duncan Bannatyne, Men Behaving Badly actress Leslie Ash and former X Factor judge Louis Walsh have all also been rumoured.
