Apple has said that its new 4.7in iPhone 6s and the 5.5in 6s Plus would be available in the UK, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore and the US starting 25 September with pre-orders beginning on 12 September via its retail stores.

iPhone enthusiasts in the UK can now pre-order the unlocked iPhone 6s model at a suggested retail price of £539 and the 6s Plus £619 from Apple directly. A number of carrier networks and independent retailers in the UK have kicked off pre-orders, allowing users to purchase the new handsets by choosing their favourite tariff. The networks' list has been first posted by the Telegraph.

EE

The iPhone 6s is up for pre-order at EE starting £49.99 upfront and at £49.99 a month for a contract period of 24 months, during which the user is entitled to 20GB data, unlimited texts and minutes. The user would also be able to take advantage of the 4G+ technology also known as LTE-Advanced on the new iPhone. The handsets are available in different colour options such as rose gold, gold, space grey and silver.

If you wish to go for the large-screen iPhone model then you will have to pay £69.99 upfront and £54.99 per month. The deal includes 10GB data, unlimited minutes and texts for 24 months. For more details about tariffs head over to the EE site.

Vodafone

Network operator Vodafone is offering a bunch of deals for the new iPhones out of which you can choose your favourite one. The lowest plan starts at £9 upfront and £59 a month for 24 months for a 16GB iPhone 6s model. Along with unlimited minutes and texts, the deal brings you 10GB 4G data and Wi-Fi calling but that comes only with a Red or Red Value bundle.

One of the most recommended deals for the iPhone 6s Plus at Vodafone comes with £69 upfront and £49 per month for 24 months including the Red 2GB bundle with unlimited minutes and texts and 2GB 4G data in the UK. If you are opting for the lowest plan for the iPhone 6s Plus, you will have to pay just £9 upfront and £59 a month wherein you get Red 10GB bundle with unlimited minutes and texts.

O2

O2 is selling the iPhone 6s and the 6s Plus with its Refresh tariff which gives you an opportunity to upgrade the handset after 12 months with no buyout charge. Besides, you get 30GB data and "Damage and Breakdown Cover" that protects your device form any accidental damage.

You can opt for the lowest tariff for the 16GB iPhone 6s starting at £9.99 upfront and £59 per month with 30GB 4G data speed, unlimited minutes and texts. Same goes with the 6s Plus that starts from £9.99 upfront and £64 per month with 30GB 4G data, unlimited minutes and texts.

Three

Three UK will be selling the iPhone duos once they become available in the UK. Three has noted that the stock is expected to hit its stores across the UK on 25 September. The iPhone 6s is available with 1GB data and "All-you-can-eat" plan starting from £38 a-month and £99 upfront cost. The 1GB data and All-you-can-eat plan is also available for the iPhone 6s Plus that can be pre-ordered starting £43 a month and £99 upfront.

Independent retailers

Carphone Warehouse

So far, high-street retailer Carphone Warehouse is the first one to announce the pre-orders on contacts with networks such as EE, Vodafone, iD and O2. The retailer is offering the iPhone 6s without any upfront and £44 per month, whereas the iPhone 6s Plus starts from £69 upfront and £44 a month. Don't expect the delivery of your pre-order before 25 September.
