Geri Halliwell was reunited with her former Spice Girl bandmates Mel C and Emma Bunton this weekend after she and her husband Christian Horner were dropped off at the Isle Of Wight Festival on Sunday (14 June) – via helicopter.

Just before they pitched up to the event, Halliwell posted a photograph of her and her partner standing in front of their flashy ride, captioning the image: "On our way to Isle Of Wight festival."

Obviously hoping for sun at the show, the former pop star was wearing a short patterned dress and brown boots, complete with a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses.

The festival had been a wash-out weather-wise for the first two days, yet the 42-year-old singer managed to avoid the mud as she was spotted hugging Bunton and Mel C upon her arrival. Halliwell and Horner landed just in time for Fleetwood Mac to headline on the final day at the music-filled weekend, whereas her fellow band members had been there a day already.

The former Baby Spice and Sporty Spice, said to have pink hip flasks with them for the entirety of the festival, were spotted partying in the Absolute free bar while listening to Pharrell and Blur's set, after which they reportedly ran into the crowd. Bunton was then said to have left the VIP area and started banging on its metal fence.

One passer-by at the event said: "She was going crazy and skipping everywhere. It was hilarious. They both seemed to be having the best time."

Bunton, donning the traditional festival look of floppy hat and big sunglasses, was later seen sitting on husband Jade Jones' shoulders, making a peace sign gesture to cameras while Mel C cosied up to her new mystery man.
