Record labels are fighting over them and now acclaimed rising band Sunset Sons will be joining Imagine Dragons on tour.

The four-piece rockers, consisting of Rory, Jed, Rob and Pete, have become one of the most hotly-tipped acts of 2015 since signing with Polydor.

Speaking to the IBTimes UK about their upcoming supporting slot while backstage at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2015, frontman Rory said: "We haven't spoken to them yet.

"I'm looking forward to when the relationship builds but it's a massive compliment."

Jed added: "It'd be nice to get to say hello. When we heard about it, we really wanted to do it and loads of other bands did [too].

"[But] they chose us so that's amazing. We'll just say thank you loads and get them presents!"

US hitmakers Imagine Dragons will embark on their European Smoke And Mirrors tour in October, kicking off in Germany.

Fronted by Dan Reynolds, the band have amassed a number one studio album and a Grammy award.

Rory admitted that he and his bandmates will appreciate the opportunity to broaden their fanbase, stating: "Two nights at the O2, if we get a couple of those fans that's all we need."

Sunset Sons have created a mega buzz early on in their career with notable moments so far including being named on the BBC's Sound Of 2015 and a string of festival performances lined up including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds and T In The Park.

The group's new single She Wants is set for release on 7 August.
