Congratulations are in order for Hollywood actress Jessica Alba and her husband Cash Warren, who are expecting their third child. The Sin City star took to Instagram on Monday (18 July) to announce the baby news with an adorable Boomerang video.

"@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered #babyonboard #herewegoagain #blessed," she captioned the clip of herself standing beside her daughters as they each hold a numbered balloon. Honor held an inflatable 1, Haven held a 2, and Jessica held a 3 while cradling her burgeoning belly.

The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, were soon inundated with congratulatory messages.

One fan wrote: "Congrats Jessica ! You make pretty babies." Another commented: "Yay!!!!! That's so exciting mama!!"

In 2015, Alba, whose non-toxic consumer goods venture The Honest Company is now worth $1.7bn (£1.16bn), admitted that she struggled to balance work with the expectations of motherhood.

"I know as a mom – and as a new parent – I felt confused. And I felt judged," the 36-year-old said.

"There's no cookie-cutter way of going about it. And I think we as women – and as moms – we need to show younger girls that we support each other no matter what. And to try and not be so judgmental."

Before deciding to expand their brood, Alba described her company − which she founded in 2012 with Chris Gavigan − as her "third baby. I'm happy with my two girls... Down the road in five or 10 years, who knows, but for right now, I'm good."
