The wait is over. Boy band JLS has released its perfume for women - Kiss - and the fragrance was a hit even before the product hit the stores, with 15,000 people on the pre-sale waiting list, causing The Perfume Shop web site to crash.

The first news of the perfume's launch was sent out on the band's official Twitter page.

"We are very excited to announce that JLS will be launching a new female fragrance! more info will be coming soon! JLSHQ."

The scent was created by award-winning perfume designer Azzi Glasser and contains a special ingredient, well... four actually - one from each of the boys. Aston went for the cassis note, Oritsé added the black orchid, Marvin Humes came through in Tuberose and JB chose amber.

"Aston loved the cheeky cassis note. Oritsé added the sensual black orchid as it is his favourite flower. Marvin adores Tuberose. JB wanted the hypnotic scent of amber crystals lingering on the skin," the Web site said, detailing the ingredients used.

"I love my perfumes, they make me feel fresh," Oritsé told The Sun. Band mate Humes said his fiancée, Rochelle Wiseman (a singer in British-Irish girl group The Saturdays), picked his favourite aftershave - Tudor Rose.

"She helped me pick it because it suited us. Enough said," Humes was quoted as saying.

Kiss, meanwhile, comes in a white bottle with magnetic lid. Each box comes signed with a kiss and is priced at £13.50 for 30ml and £19.50 for 60ml.

The product is available from The Fragrance Shop, Boots and The Perfume Shop and can also be purchased online, from theperfumeshop.com.
