Jumper Star Rachel Bilson Welcomes Baby Girl With Hayden Christensen

Hollywood actress Rachel Bilson has given birth to her first child.

The Hart of Dixie star and her long-time partner, actor Hayden Christensen, welcomed a baby girl by the name of Briar Rose Christensen earlier this week.

"Both mother and baby are healthy and doing well," Bilson's rep said in a statement to People magazine.

A source confirmed that the couple, who started dating after meeting on the set of their 2007 film Jumper, were expecting a new addition in May after Bilson was spotted with a growing bump during a break in Cancun.

"They've both talked about this for a while and are so excited. Everyone is beyond thrilled for them," the insider told Us Weekly at the time.

"They will make wonderful, hands-on parents."

Although the new parents did not publically discuss the pregnancy, back in 2013, Bilson, hinted at plans to start a family with her boyfriend of seven years.

"I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future - I hope," she told Cosmopolitan magazine.

Bilson, 33, previously dated her O.C. co-star Adam Brody, while Christensen was romantically linked to Natalie Portman and Sienna Miller.
