Canadian singer/songwriter Justin Bieber is apparently planning a worldwide arena tour with American singer and actress Ariana Grande. The Baby hitmaker is gearing up to release his new album and the former Nickelodeon star will join him for several dates in the US.

"The whole thing will hopefully end in several (U.S.) stadium dates with special guest Ariana Grande," a source told New York Daily News. "This is in the very early stages but serious conversations are taking place."

"They would both perform their solo hits then team up together for several duets," the insider added. "There is a ton of crossover in their fan base," another source revealed. "If it does happen, it will be the top tour of 2016, pulling in hundreds of millions for the two singers. It's Justin's tour, so he would open the show. Then they can decide what they'll perform together and what they'll do solo. They'd likely unite at the end of the show for a hit."

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Big Sean was upset with Bieber for getting close with Grande, during a surprise appearance at her Inglewood, California gig. On 8 April, Selena Gomez's former boyfriend performed two songs alongside the 22-year-old singer - Love Me Harder and As Long As You Love Me. Bieber also went solo to sing his new hit single Where Are U Now. During the performance, the Boyfriend singer got flirty with Grande while on stage.

Big Sean talked about the couple's failed relationship at the 2015 BET Award on 28 June. The 27-year-old rapper told ETOnline: "Man, you know, I don't plan relationships. They just happen. That's all it is. I'm just... I'm just living it. It's no, it's no God, it's no script. You know, we just out here doing what we doin'. Feelin' it out."
