Man Who Slit Disabled Neighbour's Throat Given Hospital Order
A man who killed his disabled neighbour by slicing his throat has been sentenced to an indefinite hospital order.
Daha Mohammed, of southeast London, was arrested on the same day he stabbed Colin Greenway in the throat.
Greenway, a 56-year-old wheelchair user, was pronounced dead at the scene.
After the stabbing, which happened in June, Mohammed walked to Belmarsh prison where he told a member of prison staff that he had killed his neighbour.
He was charged with murder but pleaded guilty to manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.
A post-mortem examination held mortuary gave cause of death as incised wounds to the throat.
