It looks like Mariah celebrated the 4th of July holiday by indulging in some underwater adventures with her twins Monroe and Moroccan and on and off boyfriend Bryan Tanaka. Sharing a glimpse of the outing, the 47-year-old singer posted some photos and videos showing them swimming with sharks.

"Swimming with sharks. Perfectly normal," she captioned a video of her day out.

However, her daredevil adventures sparked a frenzy fans slammed her for showing off her cleavage in the very busty Instagram uploads.

"Seriously @mariahcarey you have totally no respect for yourself, there is no reason why those boobs need to be on constant display," an enraged fan wrote. "Your not 20 anymore, and your a mother, show a little modesty and respect for yourself and your family, save those for the bedroom, and give us the artist and woman that is Mariah and zip up and respect yourself and your children (sic)."

"Are you swimmimg with sharks or are your T*****S swimming with sharks?" a second Instagram user mocked.

"She always gotta have those t**s out lol," shared another critic.

Carey was decked in an all-black Rip Curl wetsuit, which was left unzipped on top showing a hint of skin. Her only accessories were a pair of dark shades and a Von Dutch cap on her head.

As fans called out the We Belong Together singer for her choice of dressing, many pointed out that nothing was normal about the video.

A fan sarcastically wrote, "Swimming with sharks with your boobies hanging out #perfectlynotnormal lol what she meant to say was 'Look at my cleavage under water!'"

While most talked about her busty wetsuit, some expressed concerns for the songstress and her children, who went swimming underwater. In a previous post, the mother-of-two, had assured that those were Nurse Sharks – "don't worry, they're gentle", she wrote.

Amid the backlash, however, some rushed to the singer's defence and shut down haters in a classic Carey style. "Mariah is the only person who could serve cleavage underwater!!" a fan shared.
