Microsoft Lumia Denim: Latest on rollout status of update seeding in the US and UK

Microsoft's Lumia Denim update which comprises the personal digital assistant (PDA) Cortana will be released to more smartphones in a phased manner across the UK and US.

A number of Lumia handsets in the US are yet to receive the Denim update, even as six months have passed since its launch.

The reason for the slow roll-out in the US has been attributed to wireless carriers that operate within the country. Testing and final verification procedures undertaken by carriers are generally time consuming and more often delay the roll-out of major software updates.
