Ne-Yo expecting child with Crystal Renay after secret marriage

Ne-Yo is officially off the market after secretly marrying his girlfriend Crystal Renay. The singer and songwriter, whose real name is Shaffer Smith, caught fans by surprise when he revealed the secret nuptials in a cryptic post on Instagram.

Posting a snap of the couple in passionate embrace he wrote: "Happiness. Go get you some. Shouts to @j3collection for the flick and the lovely @mscrystalrenay of course for making it look so good. (She's the sexy in this couple I just try to keep up) #ClassicCouple #AT #HO #TheSmiths #BeHappyForMyHappyOrJustBeQuiet."

Renay also posted a photo with Ne-Yo laying his head on her chest, with the caption: "Rest your soul chocolate, I'm watching over your heart now."

And it seems that wasn't the only good news the were eager to share. The So Sick hitmaker also shared a snap of Renay holding a picture of Ne-Yo rubbing her growing bump with the caption: "Surprise."

Ne-Yo and Renay began dating in early 2014. This will be the couple's first child.The 35-year-old singer, already has son Mason and daughter Madilyn Smith with ex-finacee Monyetta Shaw.

News of the impending birth comes months after fans lambasted the Let Me Love You singer after Shaw claimed that she agreed to be sterilised and "have her tubes tied and burned" at his request.

In the wake of the backlash he hit back on Instagram, saying: "I've made my apologies to the people I feel I wronged. I was forgiven by those people. Anybody else passing judgment on me for my past mistakes and immaturities is more than welcome to it."
