Asus Zenfones Now Available to Buy Online in India, At Normal Pricing

New stocks of the budget Asus Zenfones are available in India, and as many as 100,000 Zenfone units were on sale via Flipkart during the retailer's controversial 'Big Billion Day' on 6 October.

Since we have already passed 6 October and the Big Billion Day is now history, you can purchase Asus Zenfones at 'normal' pricing without unrealistic discounts. New Zenfone units are now in stock across various Indian e-retailers.

Where to buy online?

All of the Asus Zenfones viz Zenfone 4, Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 are available in India, and can be purchased on Snapdeal, Flipkart, Amazon and ebay.

Do remember that the Asus Zenfone 4 is intended to be a 'budget' smartphone by virtue of which the device has a price tag of Rs 5,999 (£61), whereas the other two Zenfones – Zenfone 5 (price: Rs 16,731 or £170) and Zenfone 6 (price: Rs 17,000 or £172) are manufactured to fit into the 'mid-range' and 'high-end' smartphone segment respectively.

Key technical specifications of all the Asus Zenfones

Asus Zenfone 4

The smartphone has a 4in display that is enclosed within Gorilla Glass 3, and runs the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating platform, upgradable to Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The smartphone is driven by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, along with 1GB RAM.

There is a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front snapper. Both these cameras should be enough to click pictures while on a family vacation.

Zenfone 4 comes in 4GB and 8GB internal storage variants, both of which are expandable using external microSD cards.

For connectivity, users get Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPRS, EDGE and microUSB features.

The smartphone features a 1,600mAh Li-ion battery theoretically offering a 10-hour talktime.

Asus Zenfone 5

The Zenfone 5 has an 8MP primary camera that is said to incorporate the exclusive Asus PixelMaster technology, which is claimed to offer a good photography experience even when it is dark.
