Norwich City take on Manchester City in the Premier League fixture at Carrow Road on Saturday.

Where to Watch

Kick-off is set for 3:00pm GMT. Catch highlights on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10:30pm GMT.

Overview

Norwich are struggling in the league this season and are 15th in the table with 24 points from 24 matches, just two points above the relegation zone. The Canaries were beaten by relegation-threatened Cardiff City in their last league game, at the Cardiff City Stadium last Sunday.

Robert Snodgrass put the away side ahead early in the first half. But the home side bounced back with two quick-fire goals from Craig Bellamy and Kenwyne Jones within five second-half minutes to help the Welsh Club secure all three points.

During the reverse fixture at the Eithad Stadium in November last year, the Canaries suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat at the hands of City. Chris Hughton will be hoping that his side can pull off a shock victory as he strives to guide his side away from the relegation places.

Meanwhile, City suffered their first league defeat of the season at home in the league, going down 1-0 against Chelsea last Monday. The west London club secured all three points courtesy of a solitary goal from Branislav Ivanovic on the half-hour mark to end the home side's 20-match unbeaten run in all competitions.

Manuel Pellegrini will want his side to bounce back from the defeat and embark on another winning run. City are currently second in the league table with 53 points from 24 matches.

What the Managers Say

Chris Hughton: "There won't be too many who expect us to beat Manchester City. The ones I would hope feel differently are my players because we know what we are capable of. We know that we'll have a fantastic crowd behind us - we have to give them a performance to cheer about."

Manuel Pellegrini: "It will be a very difficult game. It is important for the team to react after the defeat at home [against Chelsea]. We play against a good team in Norwich. They will want revenge for what happened here at the Etihad, they are a good team who play good football so it is important for us to continue playing in the same way."
