The Originals season 3 producers have so far overwhelmed fan with the Mikaelson family's origin stories as the show would delve into the first vampire ever sired by Klaus and company. In the upcoming episode titled, I'll See You In Hell Or New Orleans, Klaus and Elijah will be forced to team up to uncover Lucien's motives -- the new vampire in town.
The official synopsis of the episode reads as follows:
With tension running as high as ever, Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies) are forced to come together in order to uncover Lucien's (guest star Andrew Lees) true motives in New Orleans. Cami (Leah Pipes) is caught off guard when she finds herself face to face with Lucien and is surprised when he reveals some unexpected information about his past with Klaus. Elsewhere, a mysterious figure presents an enticing offer to Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), while Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) turns to an unconventional way of coping with her current situation. Finally, an old acquaintance from Elijah's past arrives in New Orleans and delivers some startling news involving the growing threat to the Mikaelson siblings.
Charles Michael Davis, who plays Marcel in the supernatural series, spoke about surviving in a town filled with Original vampires in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. He said, "The only style is no style. Very Bruce Lee [mentality]. They're different. We've seen he's romanced Rebekah. He played an eager, learning child with Elijah. And he was trying to be more of a peer and competitor to Klaus. You have to be aware of each Original and choose the style that matches [what works with each sibling]."
"He's stood up for himself, in a way," Davis said of Marcel's history with the Original family and added, "I was talking to [Matt] Hastings, our creative director, and Marcel doesn't have a particular flaw he's defined by."
The Originals season 3 episode 3 airs on 22 October at 9pm EST on The CW.
