American actor George Clooney has been nominated in the Best Actor category, for the forthcoming Academy Awards, for his role in "The Descendants".

Meanwhile, his wax figure at Madame Tussauds is getting a makeover. Hair stylist Gemma Sim and colourist Gemma Fee are working their magic at Tussauds.

Apparently, as the actor is preparing for the Oscars, his wax figure's attire is being changed from a suit to that of a Hawaiian. The actor plays a Honolulu-based character in "The Descendants".

Also, Clooney will be hoping this is third time lucky. He has been nominated twice before, for roles in "Michael Clayton" and "Up in the Air".

"George is one of the world's most successful actors and we wish him well at the Academy Awards. With the ceremony taking place this weekend we wanted to make sure that he is looking his best and are confident our guests are going to love this silver fox makeover. He's guaranteed plenty of attention regardless, whether he is named leading actor or not, as he is one of our most popular personalities," Liz Edwards, of Madame Tussauds, was quoted as saying by The Telegraph.
