Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola lost his cool with a reporter after his side were held to a 1-1 draw with Manchester United in the first leg of their Champions League quarter final.

Despite dominating the match with 74% possession, the Bundesliga champions failed to create many clear cut chances. United captain Nemanja Vidic headed in a Rooney cross to take the lead, before nine minutes later Bayern midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger scored the equaliser. Towards the end of the match Schweinsteiger picked up a second yellow card and was sent off for a foul on Rooney, and will now miss the second leg at the Allianz Arena.

During the post-match press conference Guardiola said it had been difficult for his side to break down United when they had "nine players in the box", but when asked by an English journalist if he thought David Moyes had employed negative tactics, an annoyed Guardiola remarked, "I didn't say that".

Guardiola continued to argue with the journalist when he began to look elsewhere, saying, "look at me when I talk to you. I talk to you, but you don't look at me".

Bayern will still be favourites to progress in the competition with the second leg at home, where they have won all their games bar one in the Bundesliga.
