There has been a sad end to the seemingly miraculous story of a little girl who stunned mourners at her funeral in the Philippines by waking up during the ceremony.
The three-year-old girl, who apparently died of a fever contracted in her home town of Zamboanga del Sur, Mindanao, revived during the service and was rushed to hospital where she was later pronounced dead for a second time.
It remains to be seen whether the deceased child's family shall take this latest prognosis as the final word, considering what happened last time they tried to carry out a funeral.
