Marlene King has dropped the biggest spoiler from Pretty Little Liars season 7 finale and fans are hysterical about it. Over the past week, the show's creator has been giving subtle hints about what fans can expect in the series finale, but the direct spoiler she revealed via Twitter on Thursday (29 September) has shocked fans.

In a series of tweets, King revealed that Alison could die in the season 7 finale. Her tweets seem like a back-and-forth conversation between a mother and her child that narrates how the mother's life crumbles after Alison's body was discovered.

"Friends share secrets. That's what keeps us close. I still think about her every day," reads the first of two tweets. "Not everyone dreams of making it in Rosewood, Mom," which appears to be from the child.

"Say it enough and you'll actually start to believe it. In a small town like this what people think about you matters. It just takes a second for my world to come tumbling down. 'They found your friend. I'm sorry. They found Alison's body.' And just like that my life is broken," read another tweet.

As far as Alison's character is concerned, in the mid-season finale of PLL, she learned that she is pregnant with Rollin's baby. But to her respite, Emily expressed her love and support to her. And from the show creator's latest tweets, it appears, Alison and Emily will marry to raise the child together. But Uber A strikes back and kills Ali. And as the show ends, Emily is narrating the heartbreaking incidents to her child.

Later she posted an image with the title and its writer and director's name of episode 19. 'Farewell, My Lovely' will be written and directed by Joseph Dougherty.

She ended her tweets with a major tease. Here is what she wrote: "We made a promise... Popular in life and death. And rest assured I will find out what happened that summer. I'm still here bitches and I know everything, A."

The Freeform thriller will return with the remaining episodes of season 7 in April 2017.
