Prince Harry was apparently spotted kissing British pop singer Ellie Goulding "under a blanket" at a recent polo event, according to reports. The young prince reportedly "spent the night canoodling" with the Anything Can Happen songstress at the Audi Polo Challenge in Berkshire, fuelling romance rumours.

A report by The Sun claimed that Prince Harry has been exchanging "flirty" texts with Goulding for quite some time, and that he has even gushed about her to his friends. "He has told friends how much he likes Ellie and she is clearly taken by him," a source told the publication.

Prince Harry, 31, who has been single ever since his break-up with ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas two years ago, was reportedly spotted hugging and getting cosy with 29-year-old Goulding at the polo event.

According to the report, it was also their first public appearance together after the duo met at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011. Apparently, the real party began late night, when Prince Harry drank and danced the night away.

"It turned into a real party late into the night and there was a complete ban on taking pictures so Harry and the other celebrities there could feel comfortable," the publication's source added.

It seems the duo were part of a large group that included Tom Hardy as well. Despite the crowd, the two seemed to be spending time together, claimed a source close to Prince Harry.

"Harry and Ellie only had eyes for each other all night – they spent a lot of time sitting together under blankets. They were seen having a kiss before Harry had to go because he was playing polo the next day. Ellie left about five minutes later."

Goulding, who previously dated Dougie Poynter of McFly, is also single after splitting from him earlier this year. She had charmed the audience with her rendition of Elton John's classic Your Song, at the Royal Wedding.

The pop diva had also performed at the Invictus Games in 2014, a ceremony helmed by Prince Harry.

Gushing about performing for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the singer-performer had said in 2012, "They are an awesome couple and told me how much they enjoyed it... it's something I'll treasure forever."
