Priyanka Chopra calls husband Nick Jonas 'light' of her life

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra shared an adorable throwback video on social media for husband Nick Jonas, who celebrated his 27th birthday on Monday.

Singer-actor, Nick Jonas was showered with praises by his doting wife, Priyanka Chopra, who termed him the most generous man she has ever met. The Quantico actress called Jonas the 'light' of her life.

"The light of my life. Everyday with you is better than the last. You deserve all the happiness in the world. Thank you for being the most generous loving man I have ever met. Thank you for being mine. Happy birthday Jaan. I love you @nickjonas," the 38-year-old captioned the video.

The video has romantic pictures of the adorable couple, a clip of Jonas performing during their wedding sangeet. There is also a picture of Jonas with his mother-in-law, Madhu Chopra, among other throwback videos of the duo.

The 27-year-old replied with three heart emojis on his wife's video message on Instagram. Meanwhile, the other Jonas brothers Kevin and Joe also took to Instagram to wish their brother and band member, Nick.

While Kevin Jonas captioned an image of Nick with him on Instagram, "Happy birthday @nickjonas hope today is filled with so much love and awesomeness!!!."

Two weeks ago, Chopra was targeted on Instagram by trolls who accused her of not knowing her husband's age. Her husband jumped in and sarcastically slammed them for unnecessarily targeting her.

While congratulating Jonas on his 'Villa One' tequila launch, Chopra had mentioned his age as 27, though he was 26 at that time. Sharing a meme on his Instagram story of Batman slapping Robin for not knowing his age, Jonas wrote, "Priyanka Chopra definitely knows my birthday everyone," giving a befitting reply to the trolls.

The former Miss World shared her husband's reply on her Instagram story and wrote: "Nuff said @NICKJONAS".

On the professional front, the actress's movie "The Sky is Pink" recently made its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The film which is also her first Bollywood film in past three years, received a standing ovation lasting four minutes at its screening at TIFF on Saturday, reports E! News.

Speaking to the outlet, the actress expressed her love for kids, as she plays a mother-of-two in the movie, and also hinted that children are there on the cards for her and husband. "We had a lot of babies in this movie... It was great. I mean, I love kids. Kids are my favorite people. I'd prefer their company over adults, actually," she shared.

Chopra said she was hopeful that god would bless her and Jonas with children, when she asked about her plans of having children.

"The Sky Is Pink" also stars Bollywood actor-director Farhan Akhtar and actress Zaira Wasim, who has recently announced her exit from the film industry.
