Rumour mills are in overdrive about a dream rematch between The Rock (real name Dwayne Johnson) and Brock Lesnar. Moreover, if rumours are to be believed the two wrestling icons could fight at the Clash of Champions on 25 September or WrestleMania 33 on 2 April 2017. However, as of now the WWE has neither officially confirmed nor denied the match between the two superstars.

The rumours about a match between the two wrestlers were sparked when pro-wrestling legend Paul Heyman, who is also Lesnar's advocate, was asked as to what The Beast Incarnate thinks about fighting The Rock at Wrestlemania 33.

"Notice how The Rock picks fights with Bray Wyatt, or fights with Rusev and John Cena? Notice how The Rock doesn't pick a fight with Brock Lesnar? Is Brock Lesnar ready for The Rock? Is The Rock ready for Brock?" Heyman told The Sun. (Via The Gamer's drop)

Heyman also said that the fight between the two wrestlers would sell because of Lesnar.

"I think Brock Lesnar against anyone is an automatic sell-out. Brock does not wrestle 52 Monday's a year on Monday Night Raw, he does not come to your home town every week, his appearances are rare," Heyman said, adding, "They are unique and extraordinary. Which is why, whenever Brock Lesnar appears it is a rare and unique opportunity for the paying customer to see the greatest living athlete in the history of WWE appear live in an extraordinary event that only Brock Lesnar can deliver on."

The 39-year-old and The Rock last fought at SummerSlam 2002, in which the former defeated the latter to become the youngest champion in WWE history. The two wrestlers were then rumoured to fight at WrestleMania 32 but that never happened with most speculations.

Meanwhile, there are rumours that Lesnar could face Bill Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 after the 49-year-old wrestler recently hinted at his WWE return with a fight against The Beast.

"No matter how old I am and you never say never but I mean it's getting close to that clock kind of stopping on me but I mean you know you never seen we need one more in May," Goldberg was quoted as saying by SportsKeeda.

Goldberg then blew his nose on a T-shirt with the Beast's name on it and ripped it in half. "I don't know, can I still do this? Man, I still can do it at 49. Brock, you're next," Goldberg said.

Goldberg retired from WWE following his match with Lesnar at WrestleMania 20 in 2004.
