A couple of days ago Sony started Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Xperia SP. Now the company has confirmed a similar software update for a few of its Xperia series smartphones such as Xperia T, Xperia TX and Xperia V.
As the product page suggests, Android 4.3 update with base firmware 9.2.A.0.295 is rolling out for Xpera T, TX and V. To check for the available update, navigate to Settings>> About phone>> Software updates>> System updates.
The new firmware will not be available for all users right now. The availability and timing could vary based on the market and network carriers.
The Android 4.3 9.2.A.0.295 firmware is now rolling out for Xperia T users in Germany over PC Companion, according to Xperia Guide. Besides, the Xperia T with model number LT30p is receiving update in regions including Belgium (Proximus Vfe), Netherlands (Vodafone NL), Germany (Vodafone DE), Hungary (Vodafone HU), Ireland (Vodafone IE), Spain (Vodafone ES) and UK (Vodafone UK).
The 9.2.A.0.295 build based on Android 4.3 adds UI optimisation and smoother graphical experience. It brings new Sony user interface with new home screen look and feel. Sony Media apps - WALKMAN, Album and Movies - have been updated with the new firmware. The smartphone will also get new versions of Battery STAMINA Mode for longer battery life and other security enhancements from Android 4.3.
