Sky Sports News presenter Kirsty Gallacher and sprinter Iwan Thomas have been named as the 14th and 15th celebrities taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing. The addition of the pair to the line-up completes the list of famous names entering the 2015 competition.

They were announced to be joining the already confirmed contestants in the dance competition by The One Show's Alex Jones and Adil Ray on 27 August. Talking about her involvement in the show, Gallacher said she was looking forward to mixing two of her interests, but in a different way.

"Sport and fitness have always been a big part of my life but dancing is an entirely new challenge for me," the 39-year-old said. "I can't wait to get started."

Olympic athlete Iwan Thomas said: "I love watching the show and I can't believe I'm swapping my running spikes for dancing shoes. I used to be quick at running around the track and I'm just hoping my dance partner doesn't leave me behind."

Call The Midwife's Helen George was also revealed to be joining the line-up this week. She said that while she "couldn't wait to get her tan and sequins on", she knows the competition is going to be a challenge and is "slightly terrified".

Other names already added to the show line-up are: broadcaster Jeremy Vine, weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, The Wanted's Jay McGuiness, Loose Women's Jamelia, athlete Anthony Ogogo and journalist Anita Rani. Also joining them will be television chef Ainsley Harriott, Eastenders actress Kellie Bright, TV and radio presenter Katie Derham, singer Daniel O' Donnell, Coronation Street star Georgia May Foote and TV personality Peter Andre.

The 13th series of the popular reality show will launch on BBC One on 5 September at 7:15pm and will continue until Christmas. All of the contestants reportedly met their professional dance partners for the first time and started rehearsals earlier this week.
