Live Updates

France will play in Lyon against the third-placed side from Group C, D or E next Sunday. Group A runners up Switzerland play the runners-up of Group C in St-Etienne.

Albania have sealed their first ever win in an international competiton and gives them a (albeit slim) chance of qualiying for the knock out stages.

Full-time: Romania 0-1 Albania

No late French heroics this time, then. They won't mind too much, though, a point is enough for them to qualify as group winners with Switzerland sealing second spot. Everyone's happy.

Full-time: Switzerland 0-0 France

We are into the final few minutes of both matches. As it stands, France and Swizterland are going through.

Swiss shirts haven't held up too well this evening.

Will it be a Payet special? Nah. He drives this one into the wall and it actually comes off his teammare Matuidi to give the Swiss a goal kick.

Uh oh. Schar handles the ball to block Gignac's ball and France have a free kick very much in Payet territory.

A count that as a fourth Swiss shirt that has been ripped tonight. Must have been a dodgy batch.

Now Romania hit the woodwork! It;s a brilliant move that frees Andone down the inside right channel. He cuts in and lashes a vicious effort on goal, but it bounces back out off the near post.

Payet denied by the woodwork! Sissoko bursts down the right flank on a brilliant run and lifts a sublime ball across to the West Ham star, who bursts into the box and hits a wonderful first-time volley. It would have been one of the goals of the competition, but his effort bounces off the underside of the bar and back out.

A point will be enough for both France and Switzerland to qualify if things remain as they are.

Romania win a free kick in a good position but Sanmartean's effort is driven straight into the wall.

Here's a change for France, Dimitri Payet enters the fray to replace Coman.

Everyone is slipping tonight. A really poor playing surface worsened by wet conditions earlier today has plently hitting the deck this evening and Sissoko is the latest to do so just as he is breaking into the box.

Shaqiri has his leg clipped by Cabaye but his flop through the air on contact only serves to convince the ref to wave play on.

Sommer denies Griezmann! Pogba feeds the Atletico forward who plays a one two with Gignac before firing on goal, but the Swiss goalkeeper is equal to it.

Djourou plays a horrible back pass that Griezmann chases onto but Behrami saves his side with a wonderful interception, managing to burst the ball in the process! Never seen that before.

Sissoko drives forward on a powerful run from his own half, striding pass two Swiss players. He shifts the ball wide to Gignac who cuts in from the left to shoot, but Sommer saves easily.

Switzerland have started the second half well with Embolo breaking down the right before cutting a dangerous ball into the box. Koscielny elegantly back heels the ball to safety, however.

And we are back underway for the second half.

Albania celebrate their first ever European Championship goal.

Half-time: Romania 0-1 Albania

Switzerland vs France started off brightly but it has all been very meh since then. Paul Pogba came closest after hitting the bar from range but nothing separates the two sides at half time.

Half-time: Switzerland 0-0 France

A historic goal for Albania! They have their first ever goal in a major international competiton through Sadiku, who loops a fine header over Tatarusanu, who made a big mistake coming out trying to claim the cross. Jubilant scenes as the the striker is mobbed by everyone from the Albania dugout.

Goal! Romania 0-1 Albania (Sadiku, 43)

It has all gone a bit tame in France vs Switzerland after an excellent start to the game. Lots of niggly fouls breaking up play aren't helping.

Lenjani somehow manages to miss from here.

Albania may have missed a great chance to take the lead, but they have definitely rattled Romania and are now very much on the front foot. Memushaj jinks into the box and has two teammates across goal he can tee up. He instead opts to shoot, and it;s an easy enough save for Tatarusanu

Adil Rami picks up a yellow card for a high boot after attempting a bicycle kick clearance. As you do.

What a chance for Albania! It's a brilliant sweeping move that sees Andi Lila slipped in coming in from the right flank. He prods a ball across goal where Lenjani is running into space with the goal at his mercy but he somehow misses the target!

This man has been running the show so far.

Switzerland waste a free kick and it allows Coman to race forward on the counter. No one is catching the Bayern Munich winger but he just overhits his cross into the box for Griezmann. He keeps the ball in play though and works it across to Cabaye to shoot, but his effort is charged down.

Romania are in control in the opening 20 minutes against Albania. Denis Alibec does brilliantly to jink past three defenders with space opening up in front of him, but instead of running into it he lets fly with a shot from 30 yards out that veers well wide.

Pogba denied by the crossbar! The Juventus midfielder takes the ball down on his chest, knocks it forward and unleashes a vicious drive for the top corner. It looks destined to hit the back of the net, but bounces off the top of the bar and over.

It's still goalless between Romania and Albania.

That's not quite as good from the Swiss goalkeeper. He comes to claim Pogba's corner but misses the ball completely. Luckily for him, there are no Frenchman lurking behind him.

What a save from Sommer! The ball breaks to Pogba at a tight angle inside the left of the box and he smashes a vicious effort across goal, only to be denied by a wonderful reaction save.

Gignac does well to hold the ball up on the edge of the box and slide it across to Pogba, who looks to curl one into the top corner, drawing a decent stop out of Sommer.

Switzerland almost take the lead! A Swiss corner causes havoc in the box with Ebolo at the backpost, trying to scramble a knockdown from Schar across the line. Pogba of all people is back to knock it clear, however.

The Swiss break forward on the counter attack looking to utilise the pace of 19-year-od Embolo, but the youngster strays just offside.

Positive start from Les Blues, Pogba looks to test Sommer from range but his effort is deflected out for the first corner of the evening but Schar manages to clear.

And France get us underway.

National anthem time.

Almost time for kick off in our two fixtures this evening, teams are on their way out of the tunnel.

On their major tournament debut, Albania need a minor miracle. However, despite two straight defeats dreams of a last-16 place are not yet over. Victory over Romania will assure them of third in the group, giving them a chance of qualifying as one of four best placed third place finishers. Three points may not be enough, however.

Romania need France to claim a third win in a row, for them to beat Albania and to benefit from a goal swing of two to stand any chance of finishing second. The Tricolorii could claim a runners-up spot on goals scored or their disciplinary record, but Uefa's coefficient standings will count against them.

Switzerland require at least a point from their final match against France. A win or a draw will see them progress, with three points ensuring they finish top of Group A. Should they lose, they could be leapfrogged by Romania – who they drew with on matchday two.

France have made five changes in all tonight but Antoine Griezmann and Paul Pogba return to the starting XI. Kick off is in just under half an hour.

Valon Behrami, Fabian Schar and Granit Xhaka are all a booking away from suspension. But with Switzerland's place in the knock-out stages still not assured, Marcel Koller is not really in a position to risk leaving them out.

Albania team to face Romania: Berisha, Hysaj, Ajeti, Mavraj, Agolli, Basha, Abrashi, Memushaj, Lila, Lenjani, Sadiku

Romania team to face Albania: Tătărușanu, Sapunaru, Grigore, Chiriches, Matel, Hoban, Prepelita, Popa, Stanciu, Stancu, Alibec

Behrami has recovered from a knee problem and starts for the Swiss tonight. Xherdan Shaqiri also retains his spot in the starting XI.

Switzerland team to face France: Sommer, Lichtsteiner, Schar, Djourou, Rodriguez, Behrami, Xhaka, Dzemaili, Mehmedi, Shaqiri, Embolo

BREAKING: Haris Seferovic pays the price for those missed chances, he is replaced in the starting XI by teenager Breel Embolo.

Christophe Jallet, Moussa Sissoko, Yohan Cabaye and André-Pierre Gignac come into the France team tonight, with N'Golo Kante, Bacary Sagna, Dimitri Payet and Olivier Giroud among those handed a rest.

France team to face Switzerland: Lloris, Jallet, Rami, Koscielny, Evra, Cabaye, Sissoko, Pogba, Griezmann, Gignac, Coman

BREAKING: Dimitri Payet is rested as Didier Deschamps rings in the changes.

France have been leaving it late in this competition so far with three of the four goals they have scored so far coming in the final two minutes of each match they have had. So far, Paul Pogba, the poster boy of Euro 2016, is yet to really click into gear while Manchester United's Anthony Martial was hauled off a half time against Albania after a poor 45 minutes.

Watford midfielder Valon Behrami however is a doubt for the Swiss tonight after picking up a knee problem.

Will Austria give Haris Seferovic another chance tonight? The Frankfurt striker has wasted chance upon chance during this competition. Basel youngster Breel Embolo didn't have the best of nights when he came off the bench against Romania but the teenager could be given the nod tonight.

Didier Deschamps dropped Paul Pogba and Antoine Griezmann from his starting XI against Albania during the week. The Atletico Madrid forward came off the bench to break the deadlock in that game, seems good enough a reason for him to be restored up front tonight. With top spot not assured, the France boss is unlikely to risk sweeping changes to his side.

France became the first time to qualify for the knock out stages of Euro 2016 thanks to goals from Antonio Griezmann and Dimitri Payet against Albania on Wednesday. A draw will be enough to secure them top spot this evening, but what are the prospects for the other teams in Group A? Here's our breakdown of what can happen tonight.

Two years ago, France took Switzerland apart in a 5-2 thrashing that all but secured their place in the knock-out stages of the 2014 World Cup. This evening, there is a little less riding on this meeting between the two, with Les Blues having already secured qualification thanks to narrow wins over Romania and Albania.
