Terminator: Genisys leaked script reveals plot details of the movie Facebook

According to a report, the new trailer for Terminator: Genisys will be unveiled with the release of Fast And Furious 7.

The trailer will be screened when Furious 7 hits theatres on 3 April, according to the Projection List, and will feature more of Arnold Schwarzenegger in it.

In a Facebook interaction with fans, Schwarzenegger addressed questions about his T-800's role in Terminator: Genisys, as audiences got very brief glimpses of him in the first trailer of the movie.

"Just remember that this is just the first trailer. Don't worry, you'll be seeing A LOT of my Terminator," Schwarzenegger teased.

The fifth movie of the Terminator franchise is shaping up to be one of this summer's biggest blockbusters, with Arnold Schwarzenegger returning as his iconic T-800 cyborg, although much has changed in this version.

Here are a few major plot spoilers on the upcoming movie.

Plot summary

Much like the original Terminator movie, military leader John Connor (Jason Clarke) sends Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to the year 1984 to protect his mother Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), although nothing is quite what he expects.

Here is the official plot summary:

When John Connor (Jason Clarke), leader of the human resistance, sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke) and safeguard the future, an unexpected turn of events creates a fractured timeline. Now, Sgt. Reese finds himself in a new and unfamiliar version of the past, where he is faced with unlikely allies, including the Guardian (Arnold Schwarzenegger), dangerous new enemies, and an unexpected new mission: To reset the future..."

Arnold's T-800 will age

This movie will reboot the franchise, as the 1984 version of Sarah Conner (Emilia Clarke) will be protected from the time she is nine years old by T-800 who has aged alongside Sarah in the years since he first arrived.

In the fifth instalment fans will see Emilia Clarke as the new Sarah, who unlike the naive girl in the original movie, has actually been raised by an aging T-800 cyborg, who is also known as The Guardian in the movie.

The first trailer shows the older Arnold fighting off the younger Terminator to protect his adopted daughter Sarah Connor.

Wait till you hear Sarah Connor calling Arnold's cyborg 'father' in the movie.

Jai Courtney on new Kyle Reese

Jai Courtney in an interview with Hero Complex, revealed he didn't pay any attention to Michael Biehn's original portrayal of Kyle Reese in The Terminator, because this character has changed quite a bit.

He said, "To be honest ... I don't pay any attention, really, to how the role has been played before. I might watch [previous works] for a point of reference as far as the world or the style [and] genre of film making, but I [have been] asked if I studied Michael Biehn's performance [as Kyle Reese] in the first Terminator and I'd be crazy to go and do that."

Courtney added, "It's not going to translate, and I wasn't hired for the job to emulate someone else's performance. It's a standalone film and the character's changed. The writing's changed."

Terminator 5 will be comical?

A recently leaked script of Genisys suggests that the movie will be funnier than other movies in the franchise and also teases a cliffhanger ending.

Terminator fans put up a review from someone who got hold of the leaked script, and while it avoids major spoilers, it does state that Arnold Schwarzenegger's character, the Guardian, will be the comedic element as he is the nice guy trying to fit into society.

The review states that the movie will get more laughs out of people than Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines did.

According to the website, "The script seems fast-paced and I would best describe it as a very visual script, in terms of how descriptively the action scenes are written. The new Terminator villain will be extremely advanced and is more of an evolutionary step upwards from the T-1000 than the T-X was."

Will John Connor play the ultimate villain?

There are rumours suggesting that John Conner is actually the bad guy in this movie.

Arnold himself teased the ultimate villain and said, "We'll be having some great surprises about who is the ultimate villain that I have to fight, how I was re-programed, and the time travel. You can't travel through time when you have metal exposed, and my arm gets deteriorated... the flesh, because of some acid... so then my metal arm is exposed, therefore I cannot use the time machine."

There is a possibility that John Connor is corrupted or forcibly taken over by Skynet, thus making him the ultimate villain.

Terminator 6 and the cliffhanger ending

It has already been reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger will return for Terminator 6.

The legendary actor was asked whether he would be following up his turn in Genisys in Terminator 6, and he replied, "Yes, of course, next year."

"Genisys is just a taster, it sets up the characters, introduces us to the new timeline while still effectively leaving the first movie untouched, The Terminator (1984) did happen and is left untouched in our hearts," says a report in TheTerminatorFans.

"Sometimes the level of cheese in the script is a worry.. it should be crazy to watch and the script does use the words... "Fuck you asshole". Though swearing in the rest of the movie is minimal. The movie ends requiring a continuation which should get you geared up for a sequel."

Old T-800 and young T-800 fight scenes

As we all know the upcoming movie will feature a "more brutal" fight scene between the young and old Schwarzeneggers, as teased in the first trailer.

A source close to the production of the movie told The Terminator Fans website that viewers will see Arnold (CGI 1984 Terminator Arnold) vs The Guardian (Older Arnold) in the upcoming movie.

"The battle will be better than the T-800 and T-1000 from T2. The ground will break on the wrestling fight," added the source.

The moves will be devastating and the battle will probably be one of the most spectacular scenes in the movie, especially in the VFX department, reported the website.

Terminator 5 is scheduled to be released on 1 July 2015.
