Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor

Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor
Warner Bros

Release Date: October 7th, 2014

Easily one of the most anticipated action-RPG games coming out in the next few months, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor puts players into the role of a ranger, Talion, who has wraith-like abilities.

The game is an open world video title and players will have the freedom to pursue side quests and roam around the world, a setup that is becoming increasingly common in modern day gaming.

Players will also be able to create new characters and customise Talion as they see fit.

The most exciting aspect of the game happens to be the Nemesis System, which remembers players' interactions with specific characters they encounter in the game and adjusts the manner in which these characters will react to the player throughout the game.

In other words, enemies will develop as per Talion's specific interactions with them.
