Tough Guy Challenge 2014 in Pictures

Hundreds of brave - or foolish - souls took part in the annual Tough Guy Challenge in Perton, Staffordshire.

First staged in 1987, the Tough Guy Challenge is claimed to be the world's most demanding one-day survival ordeal.

Competitors have to complete a cross-country run followed by an assault course through water, fire and barbed wire.
