Sex scenes are quite common in most HBO shows and True Blood has its fair share of them. Hence, it's natural that the cast is expected to be comfortable enough while filming such scenes. Unfortunately, that was not the case with one of the directors of an earlier episode.

True Blood star Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), who is married to Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) in real life, recently told The Huffington Post about an awkward time with a new director on set.

"We had one director once, who will remain nameless, who was so uncomfortable that he couldn't even say the word 'breast,'" Paquin said.

"It was between me and Alex [Alexander Skarsgård], and he was kissing me on the neck at the time, and [the director] was like, 'Okay, kiss her neck. Now kiss her lower neck. Now kiss her lower, lower, lower neck.' I was like, 'Dude, it's breasts.' Come on, this is, like, Season 4 of True Blood," she said.

Paquin, on the other hand, is extremely comfortable and easy-going about filming the sex scenes for the show. She even had her husband, Moyer, direct her in one with co-star Joe Manganiello (Alcide). Moyer directed the first episode of the Season 7.

"There are moments where I'll be watching on a monitor [and say], 'Oh, Joe, just move your hand up towards Anna's breast. Good,'" Moyer told Entertainment Weekly.

"And then I'll go, 'Babe, babe, enjoy it.' I'm certainly talking to her as 'babe'. 'Darling, go for it,'" he said.

True Blood is currently airing its seventh and last season on HBO.
