UK Woman Works Just 10 Minutes a Week and Makes £25k Yearly From Her Vending Machine Side Hustle
Chloe Concetta earns £25K annually from vending machines she checks just once a week.

UK entrepreneur Chloe Concetta has revealed she earns £25,000 a year from a side hustle that requires just ten minutes of her time each week. Based in the Northwest of England, Chloe's vending machine business runs almost entirely on autopilot, offering a new take on passive income.
Building a Business From Scratch
Chloe launched her vending venture in 2023 with an initial investment of between £2,000 and £3,000. She bought second-hand machines via platforms like Facebook Marketplace and eBay, keeping startup costs low. The machines are stocked with popular snacks such as chocolate bars, crisps and fizzy drinks, appealing to customers on the go.
Securing high-traffic locations was crucial. She successfully negotiated placements in busy spots, including a 24/7 emergency services base. 'It's always open, which means it's always selling,' Chloe said in a viral TikTok video.

Chloe does not spend hours refilling her machines. Instead, she conducts a stock check once a month at just one site, located ten minutes from her home. 'It's minimal effort. I maybe spend ten minutes a week checking in,' she explained.
Her vending machines are completely contactless, allowing them to generate income while she works, relaxes or sleeps. 'Most people underestimate vending machines,' she added. 'But placed in the right location, they do the work on their own.'

To ensure her business is legally compliant, Chloe registered it officially and secured written agreements with all venue owners. She also advised that anyone earning over £1,000 annually from a side hustle must register for self-assessment with HMRC.
'There's nothing complicated about it,' she said. 'Just make sure your paperwork is in order and your locations are solid.'

'I never thought vending machines would be my thing,' she said. 'But now? It's hands down the smartest move I've made.'
