Watch Mr Robot episode 7 live online: Elliot goes missing? Producer teases upcoming episodes will set up season 2

Elliot goes missing in this week's episode of Mr. Robot! Episode 7 titled 'eps1.6_v1ew-s0urce.flv' that airs this Wednesday, 5 August.

The official synopsis of the upcoming episode reads: "Elliot will go missing while Mr. Robot tries to pull fsociety back together. Meanwhile, Angela will go head to head with an old nemesis."

Elliot going off the grid might have something to do with his girlfriend Shayla's murder, which happened in the previous episode. But will it lead to him quitting fsociety? That remains to be seen.

In the promo video of episode 7, Elliot is seen handling a powdery substance, which may indicate that he's going back to abusing drugs. Although he did not use any substances in the last couple of episodes, the devastating loss of Shayla could have pushed him back on the dark path, states a Fashion & Style report.

Meanwhile, Mr. Robot producer Sam Esmail recently revealed that all of season 1 episodes are merely a setup for the "real story" which begins in season 2.

"I don't even consider what we're doing this season to be that huge," Esmail told The Huffington Post. "It was just the setup for the real story which really begins next season..."

Mr. Robot season 1, episode 7 airs on 5 August on USA Network.
