In the previous episode, Cami died in Klaus's arms following a lethal bite from Lucien. Also, Kol, acting under a spell from the ancestor, killed Davina, the love of his life.

A promo video shared by E! Online opens with Klaus waiting near Cami's body as Hayley comes out. Klaus asks: "Did you bring it?" Hayley replies: "Jack wrote down everything your father told him about the ancient werewolves... I don't think there is anything in here that will help us take down Lucien though."

A stern Klaus says: "I will see for myself. You can go." But Hayley points out that they should do something about Cami's body. "I know she wanted an Iris wake, I can make the arrangements." Klaus snaps at her and says: "Doesn't matter what she wanted. She's gone. There is not time to sing dirges... we are at war!"

Another promo for the episode shows Kol holding a lifeless Davina in his arms, as Marcel shows up. Kol says: "I was out of my head. I loved her." We also see Lucien threatening to kill Rebekah. The promo shows Davina on the other side with her dead ancestors torturing her. One ancestor says: "We have been waiting for you Davina Claire," and strangles her.

The promo ends with Marcel saying: "We are going to bring her [Davina] back."
