Swift wore a green Dôen Nelida dress featuring ruffles and floral detailing. Her styling was understated, with an updo and delicate gold earrings.

The outfit itself offered no official announcement, but Swift's fans have a long history of interpreting colours, styling choices and timing as possible clues about her projects.

The theory rests on a simple association. Green and teal shades are commonly associated by fans with Taylor Swift, the singer's self-titled debut album, which was released on 24 October 2006.

Swift has previously confirmed that she completely re-recorded the album, telling fans in May 2025 that she 'really love[s] how it sounds now'. She also indicated that it could 're-emerge when the time is right'.

That comment has kept the prospect of Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version) alive, particularly as the original album approaches its 20th anniversary in October.
