A 20-year-old woman gave birth to a baby boy at work, confessing that she herself was not aware of her pregnancy.

Stacie Speak rushed to the lavatory after having stomach pain during her work shift as a waitress at Knock Castle Hotel at Crieff at Perthshire, where she gave birth to a 61b 3oz baby boy, according to The Sun.

"I couldn't believe it. Everything appeared to be pretty normal when I started my shift and the next thing I knew I was having a baby. I had absolutely no idea I was pregnant so the whole experience was a complete shock - but a wonderful one," she was quoted as saying to the Scotsman.

Surprisingly, Stacie never felt heaviness in spite of being 5'4 tall and nine months pregnant. Her eating habits were normal and always had irregular periods. She first realised her pregnancy after getting stomach cramps while working in a hotel, reported the Sun.

"I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my stomach. I rushed to the loo, and my waters broke. It was very frightening. Then I could feel the baby coming. Everything happened very suddenly and it was a bit of a blur. Next thing I knew my boyfriend Steven was holding my hand trying to comfort me," she was quoted as saying.

Steven called an ambulance and Stacie and the baby were taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital. They have returned from hospital and are living in the hotel's staff accommodation after the birth before Christmas.
