WWE is planning big things for the 900th episode of SmackDown Live. After The Undertaker, Edge is also set to make an appearance at the blue brand's historic episode, which is set to take place in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on 15 November.

SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon has announced that the WWE Hall of Famer will appear for a special episode of talk show titled The Cutting Edge. According to report, McMahon himself is the special guest for the talk show.

"The 900th episode of #SDLive just got a little EDGiEr. The Rated-R Superstar will be LIVE with a special edition of the #CuttingEdge! @WWE," McMahon wrote on Twitter.

Edge, who has been making periodic appearances outside the ring since retiring from active wrestling in 2011 due to neck injury, also confirmed the news on Twitter.

According to the Inquisitr, The Cutting Edge talk show segment is likely to build up the hype for the Team Raw vs Team SmackDown Live at Survivor Series, which is scheduled to take place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 20 November.

Moreover, although a fight for the Intercontinental Championship between Dolph Ziggler and Sami Zayn has been advertised for Survivor Series, Cageside Seats has reported that Daniel Bryan has approved a re-match between The Miz and The Natural for next week.

According to the report, The Miz was looking for a rematch as he believed that Ziggler might lose the title against Zayn at Survivor Series. If this happens then the title would move to Monday Night Raw.

Ziggler defeated The Miz in a Title vs Career match at No Mercy last month.
