Sony is rolling out a new firmware for Xperia C3, T2 Ultra and their dual SIM variants.

Based on Android Lollipop version 5.0.2, the new firmware bumps the build number to 19.3.A.0.472, which brings bug fixes and performance improvement over the previous build 19.3.A.0.470 released last month, reports Xperiablog.

While Sony is yet to update the software status of C3 and T2 Ultra on the official support page, which is still carrying the older builds, users have confirmed the release on Sony Mobile's official blog.

"New lollipop firmware rolled out for both c3/c3 dual (19.3.A.0.472). New firmware for many countries including India," said a forum member.

According to XDA forum member, haminjuri the update for Xperia T2 Ultra fixes the front camera problem in which the photos seem darker. The member has also uploaded the FTF link for advance users who wish to flash their device using Sony flash tool. Xperia C3 users will have to wait for a while until the forum members share the firmware file.
