Android 5.0.2 for Xperia phones
A new Android 5.0.2 firmware is rolling out to Xperia smartphones Sony

A new Android Lollipop firmware is seeding for a few Xperia smartphones.

Recently, an Android firmware with build number 14.5.A.0.283 was certified by the PTCRB across all variants of Xperia Z1 (C690X), Z1 Compact (D5503) and Xperia Z Ultra (C68XX) indicating a global release in the near future.

The same is now making its way through the aforementioned Xperia models from different carrier networks, confirm folks at XDA forum, who have already received the notification.

"Started rolling out as well for Z1 on Cosmote, Greece and T-Mobile PL/SK. So we´re getting it as well, it seems. Update: Germany Telekom.de as well. Downloading now," asserts senior forum member, stamppot.

Bearing Android Lollipop version 5.0.2, the update seems to be working smoothly.

"Everything seems to working fine, I'm not encountering the Infamous "camera not found". For aesthetics, they put the close all apps back again which is permanently floating on the bottom right of the open apps screen," observes digiknowzone.
